The Book of Spoure

This is a copy held at the Cornwall Record Office. The original has been retained by the Rodd family. It was written 1694 by Edmund Spoure for his daughter, Mary. He introduces the work as “This is a book of poems on several subjects, persons and occasions. Made by Edmund Spoure, Anno Domini 1694”.
