Church Registers

Many of the church records are indexed on the Cornwall Online Parish Clerk (OPC) website where you can search on North Hill records; other Cornish parishes are indexed on this site.

If you can’t find the record on the OPC site you can look in the transcripts for North Hill St Torney as well as the non-establishment churches. We have transcripts and will be pleased to look them up for you.

Census Records

Cornwall censuses from 1841 to 1891 have been transcribed in full on the Cornwall Online Census Project site. No charge for access. North Hill parish can be found on these pages, viz: 1841; 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891.

To access indexed original enumerator sheets from 1841 to 1911 you will need to subscribe or pay per view on proprietary websites like Find My Past or Ancestry.com.
